Linda House grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia and attended Princess Anne High School. But, it wasn’t until becoming editor of the Longwood College yearbook that she was introduced to the wonders of photography. Artistically capturing the essence of the moment became a lifelong passion.
She has traveled extensively beginning with a backpacking trek through Great Britain and Europe after college. Her recent trips have been to Africa, New Zealand, Great Britain, Italy, Alaska and Wyoming. Nature photography has become her focus. Linda’s goal is to honor the beauty of the images and share them with others to order to lift their spirits.
The name “Foxwood” is a nickname Linda calls their home in Virginia which is on the edge of wetlands and filled with wildlife. She recently retired as a senior vice-president from a major bank after 26 years. She can now devote more time to her photography and family. Until recently, she has only displayed and sold her photographs privately. She is thrilled to have this opportunity to share her work with you.
